She has also represented Victoria in athletics, basketball, AFL and touch football as well as playing premier league soccer and flag NFL, tennis and also triathlons. Tash’s most distinguishable achievement however, would be winning the TV program ‘Australian Gladiators’ back in 2008, hence where the nickname “Gladys” came from.

- Cert III and IV in Health and Fitness
- Crossfit Level 1
- Crossfit Gymnastics
- Crossfit Endurance
- Fitball Instructor
Denae Brown
Trainer
Denae Brown or ‘De’ as she is more affectionately known grew up in the small country town of Pinnaroo in South Australia.
De realised her love of sport and fitness from a very young age when she first began competing at gymnastics. By her early teens, De was competing for several teams in South Australia at Provincial Level including netball, basketball, softball and athletics – consistently achieving best and fairest in both netball and basketball.
After high school De moved to Adelaide to study and was selected to play for the State Netball Team for South Australia travelling both interstate and to New Zealand to compete.
In late 2008 whilst competing in an Adventure Race, De met her partner who not long after introduced her to the world of CrossFit and like most people – De was instantly hooked – on CrossFit that is… oh and her partner!
De enjoys the constantly varied, functional movements exercised at high intensity that make CrossFit arguably the most effective method of training.
De believes that:
“What makes CrossFit so much fun is the fact that you are constantly challenging yourself, along with every other person in the gym. You share the experience with everyone you train with and the group environment is competitive, yet super friendly and extremely supportive!
CrossFit will push you to perform beyond your perceived limits of fitness. You will improve as an athlete, but more importantly – you will improve your quality of life as you move beyond your comfort zone.”
And moving beyond the comfort zone is exactly what De has done – having competed at the 2011 CrossFit Regionals finishing 7th in Australia, De left her job in the corporate world to pursue her passion in health & fitness and become a CrossFit Coach.
With her focus now fixed on competing at the 2012 CrossFit Games in the States, De has recently relocated to Perth WA where she will direct all her efforts on preparation for her own “Road to the Games”. De draws her inspiration from the greater CrossFit Community and actively supports the growth and development of the sport
Denae holds the following qualifications:
- Cert III & IV in Health and Fitness
- CrossFit Level 1
- AWF Club Weightlifting/Sports Power Coach Licence
- ASCA Level 1 Coach Strength and Conditioning (practical hours to be completed)
